Reddit Bookmarks
"Reddit bookmarks" usually refers to Reddit's built-in saved posts — the private list created by the save button. It can also mean regular browser bookmarks pointing at Reddit URLs; the two are unrelated systems with different trade-offs.
Two different things
Reddit's saved posts live in your Reddit account, sync across devices, and capture the post itself. Browser bookmarks live in your browser, store only a URL and title, and know nothing about subreddits, scores, or content. People use both as 'Reddit bookmarks,' which causes the confusion.
Which to build on
The save button is the better foundation — it's one tap, works in the app, and travels with your account. Its weaknesses (no search, no folders, a 1,000-item listing cap) are fixable by layering a save manager on top, whereas browser bookmarks lose the Reddit context permanently.
