    Export Reddit Saves to Airtable

    Some Reddit save collections outgrow notes apps. Content creators tracking post ideas, founders compiling competitor mentions and user pain points, researchers cataloging sources across dozens of subreddits — these are database problems: they want filtered views, status fields, grouping, collaboration, and automations. That is Airtable's home turf. Reddit's saved list offers none of it (and hides everything past your most recent 1,000 saves), but your saves are fundamentally structured data — title, subreddit, date, score, URL, content — which means they import into Airtable perfectly through CSV.

    Sync Your Saves

    Export to CSV

    In the Export panel choose CSV, optionally filtered by label, subreddit, or date range. Each row is one saved post with columns for title, content, subreddit, author, score, post type, labels, date, and URL.

    Import the CSV into Airtable

    In Airtable, create a new base (or open an existing one) and choose Add or import → CSV file. Airtable maps columns to fields automatically; confirm the types — the date column as Date, the URL column as URL — and import.
    Set the subreddit column to Single select and your labels column to Multiple select — you get instant color-coded grouping.

    Build Your Views

    This is where Airtable earns its keep. Create a Kanban view grouped by a new Status field (To Read / Reading / Processed), a Grid view filtered to one subreddit, or a Gallery view for visual browsing. The same records, arranged for each job.

    Add Airtable automations on top: a Slack ping when a record is marked "Processed", a weekly digest of unread saves, or a synced view shared with your team. Your Reddit research is now infrastructure other things can build on.
