    OneNote is the default knowledge base for a huge number of students and professionals — it ships with Office, syncs everywhere, and its section/page hierarchy maps naturally onto study subjects and projects. Reddit saves are a common blind spot in that system: exam-experience threads, IT troubleshooting answers, and career advice saved on Reddit stay siloed in a list with no search, no folders, and a 1,000-item ceiling. Since Reddit offers no export and OneNote no Reddit importer, the bridge is the same one that works for every other destination: get your saves out as formatted HTML, then let OneNote's excellent paste handling do the rest.

    Group Saves by Notebook Destination

    Think in OneNote sections: which saves belong in "Certification Study", which in "Home Projects"? Use labels or subreddit filters to create one export per destination section rather than a single monolithic dump.

    From the Export panel choose HTML with your filter applied. Each export is a single formatted file containing the selected posts with titles, bodies, metadata, and source links.

    Open, Copy, and Paste into OneNote

    Open the HTML file in your browser, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, then paste into a OneNote page. OneNote preserves rendered HTML well: headings, bold text, and clickable links all arrive intact. One export becomes one page (or a few pages) in the right section.

    Let OneNote Search Take Over

    Everything you pasted is now in OneNote's search index across all your devices. The saved thread about spaced repetition study methods now shows up when you search your own notes for "spaced repetition" — which is the whole point.

    The Metadata Comes Along

    Each exported post carries its subreddit, author, date, and a permanent link to the original thread. When you are reviewing notes weeks later, the link matters most: OneNote holds the distilled content, and the full discussion with every comment stays one click away.

    Bulk Archive vs. Living Library

    OneNote is a great archive but a static one — it will not capture the posts you save next week. The workflow that sticks: keep Readdit Later as the living library (background sync, AI search, labels for anything new you save) and push curated exports into OneNote per project or per exam when you sit down to actually study or build.
