Where Are Your Saved Posts on Reddit?
Reddit stores your saves in a hidden tab under your profile. Here is exactly where they are — and a better place to keep them.
How it works
Install the extension
Add Readdit Later to Chrome, Brave, Edge, or Arc from the Chrome Web Store. Takes under a minute.
Your saves sync automatically
Every post and comment you have saved on Reddit is imported and kept in sync - no manual work.
Organize, search, and export
Label, filter, search with AI, export to Notion, and let the agent surface what matters.
Where are saved posts on Reddit? They are tucked inside your profile under the "Saved" tab — a location that is not immediately obvious to most users. Reddit does not surface saved posts in the main feed, sidebar, or any prominent navigation element.
On desktop, the path is: avatar (top-right) > your profile > Saved tab. On the Reddit app, it is: avatar > Saved. On old Reddit, the "saved" link sits in the header navigation beside your username. Regardless of path, what you find is the same: a flat, unsorted list with no search functionality.
If the question is "where are saved posts on Reddit," the deeper answer is that they are effectively nowhere useful. Readdit Later gives them a real home — a categorized, searchable dashboard that is always one click away.
What you get
Your saves get a real home
Instead of being buried in a profile sub-tab, your saves live in a dedicated extension dashboard with categories, search, and filtering.
Find by meaning, not location
Stop asking "where" your saves are. With semantic search, ask "what" you saved — describe the topic and Readdit Later retrieves it.
Automatic topic sorting
Every save is auto-categorized on arrival: programming, fitness, cooking, finance, and dozens more. Browse by topic instead of scrolling a timeline.
Background sync keeps everything safe
Saves are captured continuously. Even if Reddit drops old items from your Saved tab, Readdit Later still has them.
Access from any AI tool via MCP
Your saves are not just in the extension. Connect to Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf via MCP and access your organized library from any compatible tool.
The problem. The fix.
Reddit hides saved posts behind profile menus with no obvious navigation shortcut.
Readdit Later places your saves in a dedicated, always-accessible dashboard.
The Saved tab is an unsorted list — posts, comments, and media are all mixed together.
Auto-categorization separates posts by topic so you browse by subject.
There is no way to search your saves on Reddit.
Semantic search finds any save by topic description in seconds.
Older saves are silently removed when you exceed Reddit's 1,000-item cap.
Background sync preserves your complete save history beyond Reddit's limit.
